Trio faces drug charges after Albany home search

Three people are facing drug charges after a search of an Albany home on Thursday. 

Detectives searched a home on the 800 block of Madison Avenue near Quail Street. They found powdered cocaine, heroin and hallucinogens, Albany Police said. 

Police arrested three people, all from Albany, inside the home. 

Christie Valenti, 42, Patrick Valenti, 41, and Thomas Lifgren, 47, were each charged with five counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and two counts of criminally using drug paraphernalia.  

Christie Valenti was arraigned and released under the supervision of Albany County Probation and an electronic monitoring device. Patrick Valenti and Lifgren were arraigned and sent to Albany County Jail.
