Man accused of restraining woman in Crossgates movie theater bathroom

GUILDERLAND - An Albany man is accused of restraining a woman in a bathroom at the movie theater in Crossgates Mall.

Guilderland police arrested 34-year-old Jamel Jones on Thursday. Police say Jones did this in the women’s bathroom at the Regal 18 Cinemas inside the mall.

Police say the two women inside the bathroom feared for their lives.

He’s been charged with unlawful imprisonment and stalking.
