There were multiple reports of Albany County businesses serving drinks to the public at their bars, County Executive Dan McCoy announced Sunday.

Businesses will face a $10,000 fine and a revoked liquor license if they continue to operate and violate Governor Cuomo’s guidelines, said McCoy.

With 187 confirmed positive cases and 1 death in Albany County, McCoy says the warning should not be taken lightly.

Ways to assist the business community are being developed. For immediate help, businesses are encouraged to seek loans through the Small Business Administration website: https://www.sba.gov/funding-programs/disaster-assistance
