Albany County reports 21 new coronavirus cases

There are now 1,686 confirmed positive cases in Albany County.

That’s up 21 cases from Thursday. There were no new deaths reported in the county. 


Albany County Executive Dan McCoy says that 682 people are under mandatory quarantine and six people are under precautionary quarantine.

There are currently 27 people being hospitalized, and three of those people are in the ICU. The hospitalization rate stands at 1.6 percent.
