That’s up from 300 positive cases on Monday.

There are 459 people under mandatory quarantine and 57 people under precautionary quarantine.

The hospitalization rate in Albany County has gone down to 12.6 percent. There are currently 39 people in the hospital and 13 adults in the ICU.

“People need to take this seriously,” McCoy reminded the public at a press briefing on Tuesday.

Albany County Health Commissioner Dr. Whalen says test results from the community testing site at UAlbany should come back sometime in the next 48 hours.

During the briefing, County Executive McCoy also announced an economic plan for the county.
