Albany County reports 7 new positive cases; no new deaths

Albany County Executive Dan McCoy announced Saturday morning 7 more positive cases in the county since Friday.

Among the new positive cases reported Saturday include two healthcare workers or those who live in congregate settings, three with close contacts to positive cases, one who had reported traveling out of state and one who did not have a clear source of transmission.

This brings the county to a total of 2,289 confirmed positive cases.

McCoy also says no new deaths have been reported, keeping the total to 126.

46 total cases are linked to the July 4 weekend party on Hudson Avenue in Albany. Those who attended the party are urged to call the Albany County Department of Health at (518) 477-4640 to get expedited testing.
