Albany man charged for Central Ave stabbing

ALBANY- A 55-year-old man has been charged in connection with a stabbing that occurred earlier this month on Central Ave.

Police say Marvin Hodnett of Albany stabbed a 44-year-old man in the arm during an altercation on October 7. As a result, the victim sustained a serious laceration to his arm that required treatment at Albany Med. The injuries are non-life threatening.

Hodnett has been charged with Assault 2nd and Criminal Possession 3rd. He was arraigned in Albany Criminal Court.
