Two people hurt in Albany shooting

Albany police are investigating after a shooting sent two people to the hospital early Wednesday morning.

Police responded to the area of First Street and Lexington Avenue around 12:30 a.m.


Officers said a 34-year-old man was shot in the back, and a 14-year-old boy was shot in the shoulder and leg.

First responders transported both to Albany Medical Center for treatment. Both men are expected to survive.
