A Green Island man is behind bars on charges he attacked a woman.
Albany County sheriff's deputies arrested Anthony Thompson on domestic violence, drugs, and weapons charges this weekend.
Officers say he choked and bruised a woman, then cut her with a knife.
When officers executed a search warrant, they found two guns and a large amount of drugs.
A judge remanded him to jail after his arraignment.
