Budget talks leave some state employee paychecks in limbo

No budget means no paychecks for state workers. That's according to the New York State comptroller's office.

However, Governor Cuomo says the comptroller could have released the funds.

Direct deposits should have posted Monday and some of the workers waiting for pay are on the front lines of the coronavirus. That includes workers at the Wadsworth Lab.

PEF, a union representing about 52,000 state workers, is urging lawmakers to right this wrong.
