Liquor license suspended at Colonie venue

COLONIE - The New York State Liquor Authority has suspended liquor licenses at 21 bars and restaurants. One of them is in the Capital Region.

The SLA says on October 11, Colonie Police responded to Celtic Hall on New Karner Road for a noise complaint.

Police found 200 patrons packed inside the building.

They say patrons were drinking, mingling, some smoking marijuana, and all ignoring social distancing protocols.
Colonie police report visiting Celtic Hall on September 20, responding to similar complaints. At that time, about 100 people were there.
