ORIGINAL STORY -- NewsChannel 13 is getting a closer look at plans for a new Chick-fil-A in Colonie.

The town planning board is meeting Tuesday, and the popular fast food chain is on the agenda.

Chick-fil-A wants to open up at 579 Troy Schenectady Road. The chain is also eyeing a location in Clifton Park.

As of right now, the only Chick-fil-A in the Capital Region is at the Albany International Airport, but it's beyond the security checkpoint.
