Virus death toll stands at 112 in Albany County

Another person with the coronavirus has died in Albany County.

The virus death toll in the county now stands at 112.


Albany County Executive Dan McCoy says that there are 1,737 confirmed cases. That is up 49.  

There are 750 people under mandatory quarantine, and seven people under precautionary quarantine.

There are currently 25 people being hospitalized, and there is one person in the ICU. The hospitalization rate stands at 1.43 percent.

County Executive Dan McCoy says that 4,611 people have completed quarantine. Of that number, 1,359 people tested positive for the virus and recovered. He says there have been 19 recoveries since Saturday.
