Albany police are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash.

Police say it happened on Madison Avenue late Thursday afternoon.

Preliminary investigation suggests the 57-year-old motorcyclist was traveling westbound when he struck a vehicle that was pulling out of a parking lot.

That collision then forced the motorcycle to strike a parked CDTA bus.

Roads were expected to stay closed in that area while the investigation continued.
