Albany County lawmakers announce plan to help control fireworks

The 4th of July is this Saturday. There have been concerns in the Capital Region regarding people using fireworks.

Members of the Albany County Legislature announced legislation  restricting the use of fireworks.
The county is looking to opt out of a 2016 law that legalized sparkling devices.


The Legislature plans on introducing the legislation in July.
