Flyover in Albany County honors 98-year-old World War II veteran

Some low flying planes flew over Albany and Cohoes Tuesday as a tribute to a local World War II veteran.

Lillian Yonally, 98 lives at the Eddy Village Green in Cohoes.


She is a former member of an elite group of female pilots called the Ninety-Nines. They flew supplies and ferried aircraft during the war.
