Independent Delmar pharmacy shuts down

DELMAR - A Delmar staple for 15 years has closed its doors.

Four Corners Pharmacy served their last customer on Tuesday night at 7:00pm.

They spent all of today taking inventory and clearing shelves.

The CVS pharmacy at 260 Delaware Avenue will take on customers' prescription records.

A spokesperson with CVS says employees from Four Corners will be considered for positions there.

The owners will continue to work in pharmacy related fields.

It was the last independently owned pharmacy in Delmar.
