After some time away because of the pandemic, the Hot Wheels Monster trucks are back!

There are shows on Saturday, January 22 and Sunday, January 23 at the MVP Arena in downtown Albany.

People can watch their favorite monster trucks like ‘Bone Shaker’ and ‘Big Foot’ in action.

There are several different competitions where drivers will show off their truck and their skills.

The event’s organizers say it’s a sight that will have people of all ages talking.

"They can expect a lot of high-flying, car-crashing, smashing action," said monster truck driver Christian Norman. "They walk into the arena and they say oh this is kind of cool, this is going to be a lot of fun. By the time the show is over, and all the cars are pancaked and smashed down, their minds are blown."

Both weekend shows start at 2:00 p.m., and there is a pre-show party beforehand where people can get up close to the monster trucks.

Masks are required.
