Delmar man arraigned in assault case stemming from Albany riot

A man from Delmar was arraigned Monday in Albany City Court on assault charges.

Albany police say James Vail threw a brick at one of their uniformed officers during the riot at South Station, Saturday night.


The officer suffered a concussion and had to be treated at a hospital.

Police say Vail also threw a brick at a police car parked at South Station, shattering a window.
