In a press briefing on Tuesday, Governor Cuomo reported that more than 1,500 New Yorkers had died from coronavirus.

His brother Chris Cuomo, an anchor at CNN, has tested positive for the virus. He went on air from the basement of his home on Tuesday night.

In the Capital Region, 45 health care workers at Albany Medical Center have tested positive. Officials say one third of the workers contracted the virus while on the job.

In the Berkshires, Jacob’s Pillow is canceling its entire summer season. It is the first cancellation in its 88-year-history.
