A Selkirk death investigation has been deemed a murder-suicide.

Bethlehem police were asked to check up on the residents of 56 Chesterwood Drive on Tuesday afternoon.

They say the bodies of Bhupinder and Sarbjit Saran, both 58, were found on two separate floors.

In an update late Wednesday afternoon, police say Bhupinder killed Sarbjit.

They say the home has a history of domestic violence, and the two were not supposed to have contact with each other. However, there have been no calls to that home in the last 12 months.
