Police investigating Lexington Ave shooting, 1 injured

Albany police are investigating an overnight shooting on Lexington Avenue near Sherman Street.

Officers were called shortly after 12 a.m. Sunday to the scene where a 31-year-old man was shot in the back say police.


The victim was transported to Albany Med and is expected to survive. So far there are no arrests.
