Police investigating Sherman Street shooting, 1 injuried

Albany police are investigating a shooting that has left one person injured.

Police say the shooting happened around 10 p.m. Saturday night on Sherman Street near Robin Street.


A 37-year-old man was found near Elk Street with a gunshot wound to the leg and was taken to Albany Med, according to officers. The victim is expected to survive.

No arrests have been made. Anyone with information is asked to call Albany Police at 518-462-8039.
