Police investigating shooting on Watervliet Avenue Ext., 1 injured

Albany police are investigating a shooting that happened on Watervliet Avenue Extension Saturday morning.

 At 3:25 a.m. Albany Med staff notified police that a 35-year-old man entered the emergency room with a gunshot wound to the arm. Upon arrival, the victim told officers that he was shot by an unknown suspect while in the Motel 6 parking lot located at 100 Watervliet Avenue Extension.


Police say the victim is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
