A new poll from the Siena College Research Institute finds a majority of New Yorkers believe that President-elect Biden won the 2020 presidential election.
The poll finds that 69 percent of New Yorkers believe President-elect Biden won, compared to nine percent that say President Trump won. It found 20 percent of people believe we do not know who won.
By a margin of 65-31 percent, New Yorkers believe that President Trump should cooperate to ensure a smooth transition of power immediately, rather than wait for a final and official outcome.
The poll also asked New Yorkers about getting an FDA-approved COVID-19 vaccine.
The poll found that 35 percent of people say they would definitely get the vaccine, and 34 percent say they would probably get it. Right now, 24 percent of people say they would probably or definitely not get the vaccine.
