COLONIE- Police are investigating a serious crash that left four people injured early Monday morning.

Police say the one-car crash happened around 2:15 a.m. in the area of Loudon Road and Boght Road.

They say the driver was heading North on Loudon Road before veering off and crossing over all the southbound lanes of traffic.  The driver eventually struck a parked tow truck and trailer.

Police identified the driver as 40-year-old Jessica Neet. They say Neet had her three young children in the car with her at the time of the crash.

Police say Neet was in and out of consciousness when they arrived at the scene and needed to be pulled out of the vehicle. Neet was successfully removed from the vehicle with the help of the Boght Fire Department.

Police say Neet was taken to Albany Medical Center with injuries to her lower bodies. Her three children were also taken to Albany Medical Center to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
