Seven-year-old injured in Albany shooting

ALBANY -- A 7-year-old boy was injured in a shooting Sunday afternoon.

Police responded to the 100 block of Clinton Street just after 4 p.m. for reports of a shooting.


According to police, the boy sustained a non-life threatening injury to the knee.

Shortly after, police said a man arrived at Albany Medical Center with non-life threatening gunshot wounds.

It was determined both victims were shot in the same incident.

The incident remains under investigation.
