Guilderland police are investigating an apparent random stabbing at Crossgates Mall Friday morning.
Police say a 32-year-old man stabbed a man in his 60s with a small knife around 10:15.
The two men did not know each other.
The victim was taken to the hospital with a cut on his hand.
The suspect was being arraigned and charged Friday. Police say he has a mental health condition.
