ALBANY -- A 23-year-old Troy man was arrested Friday night for allegedly shooting a man following a crash on Madison Avenue.

Albany police said just before 10 p.m. they were notified that a man entered the emergency room at Albany Medical Center with a gunshot wound.

According to police, the 20-year-old victim told officers that he had just been involved in a crash, where he and the other driver got into an argument.

Police said the victim stated the other driver began to flee the scene on foot and that the man shot him in the shoulder with a handgun.

The victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Through investigation, Jose Cepeda-Solis was identified as the suspect in the shooting and was taken into custody.

He was arraigned Saturday morning and remains at the Albany County Jail.
