The group 100 Women Who Care is changing the lives of thousands of people in the Capital Region.
They donate money to non-profits, helping them help others.
The women show up for a meeting four times a year. At their meetings, which last no longer than an hour, they listen to the need of the non-profits and vote on which ones to support.
Checks for $100 each go directly to selected non-profits.
Their first meeting netted around 70 women. They have nearly 200 members today.
Meet the three co-founders of the group, and learn how they say their lives have been changed by watching the video of Elaine Houston's story.
