Albany man faces 20 years behind bars after admitting to gun crimes
An Albany man could spend up to 20 years behind bars after pleading guilty to gun charges as a registered felon.
Roderick Jones pleaded guilty to having a loaded gun when he was arrested in January of 2019.
Jones also pleaded guilty to shooting a gun at homes on North Manning Boulevard that September.
As a felon for previous robbery convictions, police say Jones could not legally have a gun in either occasion.
Sentencing is scheduled for October.
