Albany Train Show showcases model trains

As the holidays get closer, some people in the Capital Region are getting into the holiday spirit with the sights and sounds of model trains.

The Albany Train Show was held Saturday at the Polish Community Center on Washington Avenue Ext. There were experts on hand offering free appraisals of hidden treasures. Plus, there were working model trains built to scale and more than 85 vendors selling anything you could possibly want that’s train-related.

Organizers say it is one of the largest model train shows in the Northeast.
