Amsterdam man accused of impersonating police officer

A man from Amsterdam is accused of impersonating a police officer.
Police say 41-year-old Bruce O’Shaughnessy turned himself in after someone called 911 after a traffic stop on State Highway 5.
The caller says a vehicle approached from behind, and turned on police lights.
Police say when the driver pulled over, O’Shaughnessy began asking the caller questions, acting as a police officer.
He now faces charges of criminal impersonation and unlawful imprisonment.
