Delgado launches official lieutenant governor campaign for 2022 election

New York’s new lieutenant governor, Antonio Delgado, officially launched his campaign Tuesday for this year’s election.
Delgado, a member of Congress representing New York’s 19th Congressional District which includes parts of Columbia, Greene and Schoharie counties, was just selected by Gov. Hochul last week as her new lieutenant governor and running mate.
The previous lieutenant governor, Brian Benjamin, resigned after being caught up in scandal.
Delgado says he hopes launching his campaign will help more New Yorkers get to know who he is.
