Fulton Montgomery Community College is getting more funding to help with the shortage of health care workers across the country.

The college has been awarded the SUNY Nursing Emergency Training Fund totaling nearly $94,000. It will be used to add additional seats to their nursing programs this fall.

Applications for the school’s nursing program closed in January but will now reopen for additional students looking to get into the program.
