A new exhibit at The Museum of Innovation and Science in Schenectady takes us back to the summer of 1969 and the "Big Bang Gala."

Visitors can explore the first visit to the moon in 1969 to learn about the challenges and excitement of spaceflight.

The gala held a silent auction to celebrate the opening, with fundraising efforts going towards educational programs and the Jane Golub STEM Fund that contributes funding for the Capital Region.
