NXIVM bookkeeper Kathy Russell has avoided jail time.

She was sentenced on Wednesday to 24 months probation and 200 hours of community service.

Prosecutors had been asking for six months to one year in prison. They had said her blind loyalty to the sex cult’s leader, Keith Raniere, facilitated the abuse of his victims.

Russell is the last person to be sentenced in the case.
