Prostitution call leads to North Greenbush knife assault, drug arrests

Two people have been arrested after a Wynantskill man was slashed by a knife after allegedly hiring a prostitute.

Police say that Tuesday morning, 49-year-old Christopher Vejvoda hired 33-year-old Abigail Henderson of Albany for prostitution.

It was determined an argument broke out between the two, and Henderson began yelling out of a window for help.

An unidentified man then entered the home and assaulted Vejvoda, slashing him with a knife.

Henderson and the unidentified man fled, but Henderson was later arrested and was allegedly found with drugs on her. She’s facing drug possession charges and prostitution charges.

Vejvoda has been charged with patronizing a person for prostitution.
