As Albany police investigate a homicide early Wednesday morning, they’re also investigating a separate homicide that happened Friday night. That’s when 30-year-old Christopher Bryant was shot and killed at Madison and Grant in Albany.
Police say Friday night’s shooting was an isolated incident, and they believe it was targeted.
The shooting happened around 11:45 p.m. Police say firefighters tried saving Bryant, but he died on the scene.
Community members created a memorial of candles and flowers for Bryant and expressed their concerns of violence in the area.
