Sunmark, Beekman 1802 team up for ‘Summer of Kindness’

The summer of kindness is underway.
This year, Sunmark Credit Union is teaming up with Beekman 1802 for the project.
Kindness workshops will help children learn what it means to be kind and how even the smallest act of kindness can leave a positive impact on the world.
All summer long, kids 12 and up are invited to deposit kindness by submitting ideas on how they would spread kindness where they live.
Ideas can be submitted at Sunmark branches and online at Sunmark.org.
A kindness crew of Sunmark and Beekman 1802 employees will review submissions and pick ideas to become kindness projects that will be brought to life throughout the summer.
Some of last year’s projects included free ice cream for teachers, the building of community gardens, free bike helmets for kids and helping pets find forever homes.
