A strong cold front will push across the region later today. Warm and humid conditions as well as prime atmospheric conditions will result in strong to severe thunderstorms this afternoon and evening. The primary threat will be damaging winds however hail is also possible. Severe thunderstorms can and do produce tornadoes. There storms will develop in the western part of the viewing area between 2-4pm with the strongest storms in the immediate area between 5-7pm. Any rain and storms will be over by midnight.
