The town of Bennington, VT will discuss the issue of requiring people to wear a mask when shopping during a meeting next week.

This comes after restaurants and bars with outdoor seating opened in the state Friday; salons and barber shops will open next Friday/

The chairman of the Select Board told the Bennington Banner they may pass a temporary resolution to protect public health and retail workers.

However, like similar resolutions passed in other towns, there is no provision for enforcement.
