Restaurants in Vermont are stepping up to lend a hand during the pandemic.

Several restaurants are giving out free meals to anyone in need.

Pizzas were flying out the door Thursday morning at the Domino’s in Bennington, Vermont.  The restaurant chain was-- and still is-- giving out 500 free pizzas a day to anyone willing to wait.

The August First Bakery has free loaves of bread outside its café in Burlington for anyone who needs it.
