Vermont is getting ready to begin giving the Pfizer vaccine to kids between the ages of 12 and 15 as early as Thursday.
Vaccination clinics are being planned for more than 40 schools and kids will be able to get the vaccine at any location offering it. There are about 27,000 Vermonters in the 12 to 15 age group.
With cases going down in the state and now more teenagers to get vaccinated, Gov. Phil Scott says he could lift the state of emergency earlier than planned.
