Vermont is getting ready to give younger teens the COVID-19 vaccine.

Children between the ages of 12 and 15 can start getting the Pfizer vaccine at more than 40 schools across the state starting on Monday.

State leaders say they are confident the state’s partnership with these school districts will make it easier to get more students vaccinated in an environment they are comfortable with.

Parents can register children between the ages of 12 and 15 for a Pfizer vaccine starting Thursday at 8:15 a.m. through the Department of Health’s website.
