Berkshire County District Attorney Andrea Harrington is facing some controversy.

NewsChannel 13 has learned that her driver’s license had been suspended when she was pulled over for driving the wrong way down a one-way street.

NewsChannel 13’s media partners at the Berkshire Eagle got their hands on her driving record.

Harrington was stopped on Gordon Street in Pittsfield on September 1. According to the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles, her license was suspended in November of last year and wouldn’t be restored until September 4 of this year.

The Berkshire Eagle also reports that the officer who pulled her over only issued her a verbal warning. Police Chief Michael Wynn has not said why Harrington wasn’t cited or charged with the moving violation and driving while her license was suspended.
