A nurse in the Berkshires is out of the hospital after spending 104 days battling the coronavirus.

NewsChannel 13’s media partners at the Berkshire Eagle were there when staff at Berkshire Medical Center wheeled out Michele Drysgola for the first time in more than three months.

Drysgola was on medical leave from her job because of some scheduled surgeries, when she caught the coronavirus.

She tested positive on March 30, and does not remember anything from that date until June. The 62-year-old was on a ventilator for weeks.

On Tuesday, as employees and friends cheered, she got in the car with her husband and headed home.
