Pittsfield began mandatory water restrictions Wednesday. It's because reservoir levels for the city's water supply are now below the eight-foot marker.

You'll only be able to water your lawn, clean your car, and fill swimming pools from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. on alternate days.

Addresses ending in even numbers may water on even days of the month.

Addresses ending in odd numbers may water on odd days of the month.

There will be fines for anyone caught violating the order.
