North Adams police investigating shooting

Police in North Adams said they are looking for a single shooter after a person was shot in the neck Tuesday night.

NewsChannel 13’s media partners at the Berkshire Eagle report that a person was shot just before 7 p.m. between North Holden Street and Freeman Avenue.


First responders airlifted the person to Baystate Medical Center in Springfield.

The chief said there were few witnesses. If you know anything, call North Adams police.
