Albany County executive, sheriff stress importance of mask wearing

Albany County Executive Dan McCoy was joined by Sheriff Craig Apple at his coronavirus press briefing on Monday.

The two stressed wearing a mask is a personal responsibility to not only help yourself, but others around you.


Sheriff Apple says his deputies are citing businesses who are not complying with the guidelines. 

Albany County has seven new positive cases. There are 87 active cases and four people are hospitalized.

There are 900 people under mandatory quarantine.
